What’s your role at Limeade, and what do you do?
I’m an account manager. I work with customers day to day to ensure successful execution of their program.
How long have you been at Limeade?
Since September 2014.
What brought you here?
The mission, vision and values. Limeade is part of the solution to living healthier lives, and impacting those lives on a big scale by working with employers.
What do you like most about your job?
I really feel like I’m part of each customer’s team, which makes it even more rewarding when we experience engagement, health, well-being and productivity successes!
What does a day in the life look like?
I organize my day around each customer. It depends on where they are in the program cycle and what we need to accomplish to execute their program strategies. On any given day, I may work with our configuration specialists to build new challenges, with marketing managers to draft fresh communications and creative assets, or with solution engineers to dive into data.
Who’s your role model?
I draw inspiration from a variety of areas and really like to learn from role models in different industries. My top four role models are my dad; my old boss, Annette Weishaar; and business owners Jen Sinkler and Diane Fu. They all have one thing in common: strength – strength to go after their goals, to lead and to continuously learn.
What’s one thing not many people know about you?
I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and I cheered at University of Washington (Go Huskies!).
What’s your favorite thing about working at Limeade?
I work with the best of the best: my co-workers and my customers.
Where would you take a career-cation?
My next vacation is in Europe! Exactly where is a great question…
How do you destress?
Working out (of course)! I love Olympic weightlifting. While I may not be the strongest, fastest or fittest, I enjoy learning and fine-tuning my technique and getting stronger.
What’s your favorite Limeade memory?
Own It Day, where I was able to pitch a new product initiative (“Email Like a Boss”) and help see it built end to end in just one week.
What’s your favorite Limeade value, and how do you live it?
Be It. I live it by striking a balance between work, health and well-being. There’s a lot of overlap, so when I work on one area, I inevitably see growth and improvement in another.
