1. Nike and Under Armour CEOs step down
On the same day, both the CEO of Nike and Under Armour announced that they would be stepping down as CEOs in 2020.
2. The modern workplace goes to Washington
House Democrats plan to craft a list of legislative recommendations to update protections in the modern workplace.
3. Workplace discrimination
A new Glassdoor survey found nearly 60% of employees say they have seen or experienced workplace discrimination. Additional findings: 45% said they’ve seen or experienced ageism, 42% witnessed or experienced gender discrimination and 33% cited discrimination based on sexual preferences.
4. What’s stressing out employees? People
In a recent survey, more than a third of workers said people are one of their major sources of stress in the workplace.
5. 3 Ways to create a whole person employee well-being program
With many HR professionals on board with the concept of whole person well-being, it’s no longer a question that it’s crucial to employee engagement, but more a matter of how to bring this approach to life in employee well-being programs.
6. OPM Toolkit
Earlier this week, the United States Office of Personal Management (OPM) released a new toolkit designed to help supervisors better understand and take action based on employee feedback.
7. IT Talent: 6 signs your star talent may leave
