Limeade is seeking an External Reporting Manager for our Finance team. This vital role supports Limeade’s business goals by acting as the external reporting processing owner and ensuring compliance with our filings on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
Reporting to the Company Controller, this position interacts with Accounting, Finance, CFO, VP of Legal, outside counsel, external auditors and various internal department leaders. This person will manage the external reporting process and be the technical accounting expert on the team.
Responsibilities:
Ensures appropriate policies, procedures and practices are maintained to enable the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Preparation of a high-quality set of US GAAP financial statements, including footnotes and financial disclosures included in other sections of half-year and annual reports
Ensuring appropriate support workings / audit file is maintained for the disclosures within the financial statements and other sections of quarterly/annual reports filed with the ASX such as Forms 4D and 4E
Contributor in the external earnings release process (in collaboration with investor relations)
Ensures compliance with all FASB accounting rules and regulations
Responsible for reviewing investor relations, board of director and executive management presentations to ensure consistency in reporting and messaging
Assist/lead projects to improve the existing internal control structure and working towards SOX compliance requirements
Review, understand, and plan for upcoming FASB guidance. Draft technical memos based on the application of guidance to the existing processes within the company
Supports writing, implementation, and ensures effective and practical implementation of corporate accounting policies
Develop relationships and work closely with external auditors, business leaders and senior management to ensure communication of critical issues in a timely manner
Requirements: ·
Ability to demonstrate our values in an ongoing and consistent way
BA or BS from an accredited University, preferably in Accounting or Finance
2-5 years of prior SEC or ASX reporting experience
Preference towards Big 4 experience and active CPA licensees
Experience with MS Office Suite
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Strong proofreading skills
