Limeade Launches Business Insights Team and Tools to Support Employers Drowning in Data
Industry-leading team of data scientists optimize insights for employee health and well-being
Limeade, an employee health and well-being solution, today announced the launch of its Business Insights team. The team delivers enhanced reporting tools, insights and storytelling to help customers understand their employee populations – and to inspire positive change across their workforce.
According to Gartner, Business intelligence (BI) and analytics has been cited as the No. 1 priority for CIOs for the past three years running, and businesses that are evidence-based generally outperform their competition, in terms of growth, by a factor of two or more.
“This is a $20 billion industry. It’s critical for companies making substantial investments to justify spending by measuring the impact of their strategies,” said Henry Albrecht, Limeade CEO. “Limeade believes in the power of data, and we’re excited to deliver even more actionable insights that connect HR objectives to overall business goals.”
Business Insights delivers a suite of real-time analytics and insights tools, including employer-tailored packages to address the key well-being drivers for each customer. The team is focused on the following initiatives:
Translate data into actionable insights. Business Insights is comprised of a cross section of experts, including big data technologists and Ph.D. statisticians. Together they deliver the systems, analyses and sophisticated visualizations to create meaningful stories with workforce data. This includes information on program outcomes.
Deliver self-service insights tools. New Limeade dashboards put data at customers’ fingertips – subject to strict privacy and security protocols. Limeade training and customer success teams will guide insights strategies.
Measure customer success against national and industry benchmarks. New reporting capabilities compare customer participation, outcomes and health, well-being, and culture scores against industry norms, assisting organizations in their pursuit of becoming “best place to work” employers.
As part of this investment, Limeade hired Tony Kippen as senior director of Business Insights. He brings over 16 years of experience developing and managing systems in high-tech industries. Formerly with AIM Consulting Group, Tony led the growth and development of the data & analytics solution practice. Before AIM, he worked at Hipcricket as the vice president of analytics, where he spearheaded the vision and direction for the company’s data and technology strategy. Tony will report directly to Henry.

Limeade released new employment data demonstrating concentrated focus on increasing gender representation across its global workforce. As of February 2022, Limeade reported 51% women make up the employee population and 48% of director-level and above leadership roles are held by women.
