how do you get inspired?

With a whiteboard, a couple of pens to scribble with, and a bunch of smart and opinionated LimeMates to debate with. I grew up with daily dinner debates with my family, and I’m always looking for creative ideas to play off of others’ ideas and inspire change.

what’s your favorite limeade value and why?

Anything is Possible. It’s so obviously ludicrous and fundamentally swag. The idea of self-efficacy — believing you can do something independent of your actual ability — is so powerful it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. And it’s sometimes scary to people who see how far from reality their beliefs are — like when we started the company with a goal of, “creating 25 million evangelists.” But we’re on our way.

I always tear up at the stories of the underdogs who do the work and never quit: Rudy, Malala, Serena.

what’s the best career advice you’ve ever gotten?

“That’s the worst business idea I’ve ever heard.” (Ignore!)

what’s your theme song?

Alive” by Sia and for the “B” side, “Praying” by Kesha.
