Last week, Limeade celebrated the upcoming Olympics by hosting a day filled with fun, fitness and a little competition. Limeade Decathlon stations were set up throughout the office, and the events tested LimeMates on all levels.
There were mental challenges like an Olympic word search and Olympic rings search in the office. There were physical challenges like a push-up challenge (the top performer hit 80!) and a plank challenge (the top performer held an 11:01 plank!). And to top it off, the fun challenges included an archery contest with nerf darts, a put-put challenge to sink as many hole-in-ones in two minutes and even an Olympic selfie activity.
The standing long-jump competition was by far the most popular event. LimeMates stood on the starting line and jumped as far forward as possible. We discovered we have some extremely talented long-jumpers amongst us — the Limeade record now stands at 113’!
At the end of the day, we all met in the kitchen for a happy hour to celebrate our accomplishments. We look forward to watching the upcoming Olympic games and will practice our standing long jumps until then.
