It’s no secret that at Limeade, care is our top priority. Care for both our employees and your employees. That’s why this year, with the uncertainty and current state of COVID-19, we reimagined how to deliver the same great Limeade Engage content in a different and equally impactful way.
The Limeade Engage 2020 Webinar Series brought the captivating speaker sessions, research and insights we had planned for our in-person San Diego event, directly to you in the comfort of your home.
The Limeade Engage 2020 Webinar Series: March 31 – April 2, 2020
Although we didn’t get to greet you all in person, LimeMates (Limeade employees) and guest speakers shared best practices, industry-leading science and technology with the same heart and passion as they would have on stage.
Here’s what you missed in the webinar series:
Limeade CEO Henry Albrecht set the stage for care in his opening message. He explained how care is not only hard as it requires coordinated action, but it’s also essential and fundamentally transformative.
Our first keynote speaker Luvvie Ajayi, New York Times Best-selling Author and Podcast Host, brought her lively spirit and refreshing honesty in her message of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. She encouraged attendees to commit to push the people around us and ourselves to tell the truth.
Next up, Dr. Laura Hamill, Limeade Chief People Officer & Chief Science Officer of the Limeade Institute, and Lauren Franklin, Limeade Brand Management, took the screen to share stories of engagement through the lens of the employee and how the role of technology can help personalize the employee experience.
Day one closed with a deeper look into inclusion myths. Dr. Reetu Sandhu, Senior Manager, Limeade Institute, and Lauren Franklin ensured your facts about workplace inclusion are up to date by addressing questions about inclusion and the importance of it, especially as we face a new way of work.
“Culture is not just what you say you’re going to do, but what you do.”– Patty McCord, Former Chief Talent Officer at Netflix; Bestselling Author of Powerful
Patty McCord, Former Chief Talent Officer at Netflix; Bestselling Author of Powerful had us all glued to the screen with her expert insights and real stories of her experiences in different workplace cultures. Tackling the topics of team, talent and transformation, McCord challenged all of us to “stop doing things that don’t matter — if it doesn’t add value now, it doesn’t add value later.”
Next, we dived directly into learning how great employers are reaching their entire workforce — even those hard to reach populations — with Stefanie Lightman, Limeade Senior Director, Brand Management, Ronnie Gilbertson, Limeade Director, Customer Success and our very own customer guest speaker.
The last two sessions of the day featured Dr. Reetu Sandhu and Lindsay Lagreid, Limeade Senior Solution Architect, where they unpacked strategies to illustrate organizational support to show employees you care. And Lauren Chucko, Limeade VP, Customer Success and Dr. Liz Pavese-Kaplan, Senior Director, Limeade Institute, with the help of a customer guest speaker, shared how to use tested program evaluation approaches to improve business results.
The last day of the Limeade Engage 2020 Webinar Series kicked off with Dr. Laura Hamill sharing her thoughtful approach to creating an intentional culture. Daniel Kraft, Limeade VP, Product and Nick Mamolo, Limeade Manager, Solution Architecture, followed Dr. Hamill’s keynote with a look into the Limeade product for a better understanding of how Limeade can support your unique company and business goals.
We wrapped the webinar series with two final sessions tackling best practices to evolve your Limeade experience design with Limeade leaders Gary Gustafson, Limeade Director, Customer Success and Allison Costenaro, Limeade Director, Customer Operations. Plus, a popular topic many companies face in the world of work: burnout. Dr. Reetu Sandhu and Lauren Franklin provided expert insights and research from the Limeade Institute on how to spot, prevent and help employees recover from burnout.
Although Limeade Engage 2020 was reimagined into a virtual experience, we are grateful to our speakers, vendors, the planning team and attendees for demonstrating care for each other in this challenging time.
