At Limeade, we believe when an employer authentically invests in their people, their people will invest in the company. To drive real global employee engagement and well-being, you have to go beyond the basic steps challenge and immerse employees in a program that considers their whole person, whole company and whole ecosystem. That’s why we’re excited to share details about our comprehensive global offering.

GLOBAL DATA AND SECURITY AT LIMEADE
As an employee engagement company, we’ve had a long-standing commitment to data privacy and data security because we handle company, employee and other critical data every day. This is no different for our global programs, which are culturally relevant and adhere to global privacy and security laws. That’s why we’re currently Privacy Shield certified, which notes our commitment to safeguard the transfer of personal data and information between the EU and the U.S.
And soon, we’ll build on the foundation with our GDPR compliant as of May 2018.
Not familiar with GDPR? The European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation by which the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the EU. This regulation was adopted in 2016 and will take effect on May 25, 2018. The regulation is designed to protect personal data and regulate how organizations collect, transfer or process data.
The new GDPR outlines several principals for data protection such as the right to be informed, the right to access and the right to be forgotten among others. Limeade already complies with seven of these and we’re working on the last few. When they’re complete, we’ll update our Privacy Policy, which is reviewed and updated annually.
“Privacy and protection of personal information is paramount for enterprises and their people. We recognize the need for our policies to align with international best practices and global data protection laws.” – Faye Ricci, Limeade Data Protection Officer and Vice President of Legal
