The winner of our March “Make Others Great Award” goes to…

The “Make Others Great” award started as a way to recognize employees who go above and beyond to help others do their best work through collaboration and teamwork. Each month a nomination committee reviews submissions from fellow employees and selects the winner.

This month, the BIG shoe goes to Julie McComish, Director of Account Management. Cheers to Julie for always striving to Make Others Great! Here are just a few things Julie’s coworkers said about her:

“She is flawless on client conference calls and follow-up.”

“She is a great thinker and has insights and knowledge that are constantly helping to improve and benefit clients’ experiences.”

“She always does it all with a great attitude; I have never heard her complain!”

Director of Account Management. My job is to make sure that our superstar account management team consistently delights our customers.

How long have you been at Limeade?

Just shy of one year.

What brought you into Account Management?

I originally joined Limeade as an Account Manager. I have a background in the strategy and management of incentive programs (in my case, global marketing incentive programs at Microsoft), and was excited by the opportunity to develop wellness incentive programs while building relationships with clients.

What do you like most about Account Management?

Helping our customers create stellar wellness programs for their employees.

What motivates/inspires you?

User feedback! I love reading through all the feedback from the users of our programs. There is nothing more rewarding hearing that our programs make a difference. And I love to learn, so finding out where we can improve is a huge motivator.

My favorite stories have to do with users who make small changes through our program (eating better, starting to walk more, coaching, etc.) that end up becoming big changes over time. It reminds me that everything we do can add up to something really important. I read a comment last week about a user who lost 20 pounds, and even her mother-in-law commented that she was looking healthier. How awesome is that!

What is one thing not many people know about you?

I was a springboard diver in high school – and it still terrifies me to think about it.

What is your favorite thing about working at Limeade?

The people! They inspire me to be better, and I learn something new from my co-workers every day. Everyone at Limeade is smart and creative – plus extremely passionate about what we’re doing.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love to cook (but mostly eat) foods from varying cuisines. I love to travel. I love to be active. I play a lot of tennis, hike, bike and run!

Where would you take a career-cation?

South America or India!

What is your favorite Limeade memory?

Own It Day! We spent a day away from our everyday jobs and created teams to build new features in the Limeade platform. I loved working with new people from Limeade, putting on different hats within the organization, and building something that would really make a difference for our customers.

What is your favorite Limeade value, and how do you live it?

Anything is possible – I love to prove people wrong when they say something can’t be done!
