Limeade, a technology company that builds happy, healthy, high-performing workforces for Fortune 1000 companies, announced today it is a finalist in the Puget Sound Business Journal 2014 ‘Washington’s Best Workplaces’ annual award competition. The program, which started in 2007, recognizes leading Washington-based companies that demonstrate excellence and best practices in employee satisfaction, hiring and retention.
More than 300 companies were nominated in this year’s competition. Each nominee underwent an extensive and rigorous employee survey process to rank the strength of each company’s employee engagement and advancement practices, leadership, organizational communication, culture, work/life balance, benefits and other employee-focused perks. Limeade ranked among the highest scoring companies, making the top 85 list of businesses that will be honored on August 14th at a public awards ceremony at Safeco Field. These finalists will also be recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal in its August 9th print and online edition.
According to Henry Albrecht, co-founder and CEO of Limeade, “We’re excited to be nominated and look forward to the finalist awards ceremony. Given our mission to help leading companies build happy, healthy and high-performing workforces, it is imperative we lead with our own employees. I’m truly humbled to engage every day with such amazing talent.”
