LimeTime Session Recap: The Manager Experience: Empowering Your Essential Leaders

Their leadership position also means they have a major influence on the employee experience.
At our quarterly virtual event series, LimeTime, Tito Chavez-Ngyuen, Sales Enablement Manager at Limeade and Tina Puls, Sr. Account Executive at Limeade discussed why managers are critical to unlocking an organization’s true potential and why improving a manager’s experience is crucial to increasing employee engagement and reducing turnover.
“Having a strong employee-manager relationship is a key differentiator when it comes to ensuring your employees are feeling heard, valued and cared for at work,” said Chavez-Ngyuen. “The managers who are in tune with their employees mental, physical, financial and work well-being are proven to have more engaged employees with lower turnover and absenteeism.”
The session highlighted the importance of a positive relationship between a manager and their employees, and the significant impact prioritizing this relationship has on an organization’s success.
“When an employee feels cared for and heard by their manager, they’re more willing to be involved with the organization because they feel it’s looking out for them and so in return its growth is now their concern,” said Chavez-Ngyuen. “Employees will move from just doing their jobs to striving for growth because they’re engaged and there’s a sense of ‘care’ involved in their workplace.”
The Limeade team also unveiled Limeade Listening’s upcoming product innovation release, the Manager Experience, which offers an enhanced centralized place to empower and help managers better understand what’s going on with their teams and how they can improve.
