Employee Well-Being in the Age of COVID-19: What Your People Want You To Know
COVID-19 is putting immeasurable stress on employees around the world. How do we know? We asked.
We surveyed 1,000 employees (500 managers and 500 associates) at companies with at least 500 employees. We wanted to know how COVID-19 is affecting well-being, engagement, stress and burnout. Here’s what we found:
Managers are carrying the weight of COVID-19, but direct reports are experiencing the biggest decreases in well-being.
72% of employees are feeling burned out, compared to 42% before the pandemic.
Male and female managers are living wildly different remote work experiences, and the underlying problems need to be fixed.
It’s never been more important to double-down on employee care. And with the right tools, you can. In our new report “Employee Well-being in the Age of COVID-19: What Your People Want You to Know”, you’ll see the full results of our study, and you’ll learn how employee care can restore a sense of well-being and engagement throughout your organization — during times of crisis, and beyond.
The Limeade Institute discusses the utility of including well-being in the flow of work and describes what needs to be in place for well-being initiatives to be helpful and not disruptive in the flow of work.
