About the role:
Limeade is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The role will work with our Data team to manage our database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience administrating various database technologies, as well as experience in Azure.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the overall administration, installation, configuration, support and maintenance of a variety of database products including MS SQL Server, CosmosDB, and Azure SQL.
As a DBA, you will provide database support for both operational and project needs, working with a wide variety of cross-functional teams and external vendors. Providing on-call support for 24 x 7 critical systems as part of rotation is required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot database performance and scalability issues.
Manage and support database backup and replication scenarios.

Requirements:
Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way.
Database Administration experience with Cosmos DB.
Strong experience developing user defined functions, stored procedures, triggers for Cosmos DB.
Demonstrated detailed technical understanding of technology stacks.
Experience with data extraction and manipulation, and ad-hoc query tools.
Experience with professionally coordinating and assisting customer support (tier-2 or tier-3) personnel with AZURE related incidents and tasks.
Experience in coordination and escalation to Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with internal customers as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems.
Minimum 2+ years of experience with design/ implementation or support of solutions using Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Basic scripting and development & PowerShell.
In-depth knowledge about Azure, various components and services.
