About the role:
The Director of Digital Marketing Ecosystems is a leader with an expertise in the digital intersection of marketing, experience, and brand. This individual has a proven track record in driving and amplifying key business goals and demonstrates a passion for delivering best-in-class digital experiences and who understands how to leverage all digital channels for engagement, experience, growth and ROI in a global landscape. The leader will shape the enterprise strategy for marketing in the digital space by solving for GDPR and privacy regulatory requirements and operational best-practices, optimizing current marketing technology landscape, identifying next-phase technology and trends that deliver marketing results, integrating new channel marketing and measures of business success and understanding the ever evolving B2B consumer.
This role can be fully remote.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CMO and as a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, the Director of Digital Marketing Ecosystems is a coach/player responsible for envisioning, building, designing, optimizing, leading, and executing on a multi-phase approach to delivering an exceptional digital customer experience across all phases of the customer journey.
The Director of Digital Marketing Ecosystems will lead strategic work sessions by utilizing marketing frameworks, past experiences, and creative direction; use consultative approach to push enterprise thinking, interpret objectives and turn data & insights to support strategic digital plans. Evaluation of campaigns, providing insight to recommend iterative improvements.
In tight collaboration with the Director of Acquisition, the Director of Digital Ecosystems will direct digital campaigns through a combination of advanced planning and day-to-day, real-time management across content marketing, search marketing, email marketing, and web / mobile site initiatives, digital engagement, lead generation / demand gen, nurturing, and conversion initiatives.
Collaborating with the Director of Brand, Senior Director of Solution Marketing, and Director of Acquisition, the Director of Digital Marketing Ecosystems will establish a deep understanding of customer segments and lead the current MarTech team to execute messaging through appropriate channels throughout the enterprise and integrates customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to create a connected customer journey. Develops digital analytics dashboard and reports for senior management. Lead and develop the current marketing technology team and train others in marketing technology stack.
Qualifications:
Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred
Minimum 8 years of related experience in digital marketing leadership positions
Minimum 8 years of working in global environment with proven leadership and execution of GDPR and other privacy guidelines
Established results in growing business through digital platforms
Proven industry thought leader in digital initiatives and experience as the organizational authority regarding emerging digital marketing trends.
Expertise in evaluating data, building audience profiles, lead-generating tools and transforming insights into robust and actionable digital marketing plans
Experience with digital platform integrations that highlight a comprehensive understanding of consumer trends
Proven experience integrating marketing technology products for best in class digital first marketing organization
Proven leader of large-scale program management of marketing technology-intensive initiatives
Must be proactive communicator self-starter, creative thinker, inspired, professional, decisive, confident, and focused
Track record in leading a team and collaborating with IT and senior organizational leadership to drive business goals
Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated experience with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
Salesforce, Word Press and Marketo experience
