AmTrust is a large global organization that provides insurance products and services including property and casualty, workers’ compensation, multiline small businesses and specialty risk insurance. Struggling to connect a dispersed workforce and offer all employees the same access to benefits and resources, AmTrust needed an all-in-one holistic well-being program for its employees.
AmTrust partnered with Limeade to give its 5,250 global employees AmWell, a well-being program available across mobile and desktop devices.
AmWell makes it easy for AmTrust employees, managers and executive leaders to access medical benefits information, learning and development resources, well-being and safety guidance and unified communications — all in one program to support their employee experience.
With the help of Limeade, AmTrust achieved the following:
Transformed its well-being program to prioritize whole-person well-being for its U.S. and global populations.
Expanded the focus of its program from physical activity to whole-person well-being.
Established AmWell as a global employee program, enabling the AmTrust Human Resources and Corporate Communications counterparts in the U.S. and U.K. to form strategic partnerships through weekly communication efforts. This collaboration creates awareness for internal communications that can be integrated into the AmWell communication channels.
Over 60% of Asia and Europe employees achieved goals in their well-being program — demonstrating positive global well-being program adoption.
Created a cultural shift toward total well-being among U.S. employees. AmTrust leaders cite their campaigns for leading to more effective collaboration between the Talent Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Communications teams in the U.S.
The turnover rate for employees registered in AmWell is 4.3% lower than unregistered employees (4.7% lower for U.S. employees and 5.9% lower for non-U.S. employees).
